- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and a desire to fix machinery.
- Previous forklift operating experience is a plus.
- Must have the ability to keep organized and set in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
- High degree of interpersonal skills with strong communication skills.
- Represent Blanchard Machinery by consistently exhibiting a professional manner, arriving on time and communicating with the customer and team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to use computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
- The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily inside (non-climate controlled) throughout the day around moving mechanical parts.
- Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.
- Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous material to prevent exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment.
- Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines in order to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
