Stephens & Smith is currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Rental Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service, maintains accurate tenant records, and ensures our property is clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to):
Greet and assist customers, delivering outstanding service and a positive rental experience.
Accurately maintain tenant records, including leases and all related correspondence.
Manage rent collections and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Perform daily lot checks to ensure property security and cleanliness.
Process daily deposits and complete associated paperwork.
Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephones.
Perform light cleaning and routine maintenance, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and keeping exterior grounds free of debris.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with basic computer software; experience with property management systems (e.g., SiteLink) preferred, or willingness to learn.
Valid driver's license required.
Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
Previous rental, leasing, or property management experience preferred.
Definitions: Based on 8-12 hours per day
Continually 70-100% Regularly 50-70%
Periodically 20-50% Rarely - less than 20%
Continually required to speak and listen.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing 25-50 pounds.
Comfortable with bending, reaching, and performing light maintenance tasks.
Capable of performing daily cleaning and grounds maintenance duties.
