We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Rental Car Coordinator to join our busy Chevrolet dealership team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, managing schedules, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Position Overview
As a Rental Car Coordinator, you’ll oversee the daily operation of our service loaner and rental vehicle program. You’ll work closely with service advisors, customers, and dealership staff to ensure customers receive a seamless experience while their vehicles are being serviced.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule rental/loaner vehicles for service customers
- Check vehicles in and out, documenting condition and mileage
- Maintain accurate rental agreements and customer records
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use
- Monitor fleet availability and vehicle maintenance needs
- Verify insurance and driver eligibility requirements
- Communicate with service advisors regarding customer transportation needs
- Handle customer questions professionally and efficiently
- Assist with billing, payments, and daily reporting
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Previous automotive, rental, or customer service experience preferred but not required
