Position Overview
VIVÂMEE Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Social Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for social events, including milestone celebrations, birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, baby and bridal showers, holiday gatherings, and other special occasions. This role is responsible for generating and managing social event inquiries, conducting venue tours, cultivating client relationships, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue through successful event bookings.
The ideal candidate is a hospitality-focused sales professional with exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, and a passion for helping clients create memorable experiences. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding service while consistently achieving established sales and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full social event sales cycle from inquiry to signed contract.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, text, and online channels.
- Qualify prospects through discovery conversations to understand event objectives, budgets, guest counts, and timelines.
- Conduct personalized property tours and sales presentations for prospective clients.
- Prepare customized proposals, pricing packages, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM records.
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients to maximize conversion opportunities and booking revenue.
- Collaborate with operations, culinary, catering, and event teams to ensure a seamless client experience from booking through execution.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, community organizations, event planners, and vendors to generate new business opportunities.
- Participate in networking events, open houses, showcases, and promotional events to increase awareness and drive social event bookings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual social event sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in hospitality, events, catering, hotels, resorts, venues, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and closing business.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
- Knowledge of social event planning and hospitality operations is preferred.
