We are growing and looking for a skilled R&I Technician to join our team.Position SummaryThe R&I Technician is a critical role in our production workflow. You will be responsible for the professional disassembly and reassembly of vehicles entering and exiting the repair process - ensuring parts are properly removed, catalogued, and reinstalled to manufacturer specifications. This is a primary R&I role with a clear path to expand into body repair for the right candidate.Core ResponsibilitiesDisassemble and reassemble vehicle components for collision repair, including bumpers, trim, glass, mirrors, lighting assemblies, doors, fenders, and interior panelsSafely remove and reinstall mechanical and electronic components as required by repair plansIdentify and document all damaged, broken, or missing parts during teardownWork closely with estimators and body technicians to ensure accurate parts ordering and smooth production flowMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentHandle parts with care to prevent additional damage and ensure proper reinstallationPerform quality checks on reassembled vehicles to verify fitment and functionAssist with shop operations as directed by management Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an R&I Technician in a collision repair environment - this is a firm requirementDemonstrated proficiency with disassembly and reassembly of a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesFamiliarity with OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specificationsAbility to work efficiently while maintaining quality in a fast-paced production shopValid driver's license with a clean driving recordOwn basic hand tools required for the positionStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred QualificationsI-CAR training or equivalent certificationsExperience with ADAS components and calibration requirementsFamiliarity with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar estimating platformsExperience working in a direct repair program (DRP) shop environmentInterest in growing into body repair - we actively develop talent from within Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experienceHealth Insurance with company contributionDental CoverageVision Coverage401(k) Retirement Plan with percentage matchPaid HolidaysPaid Personal Time Off (PTO) - 13 days per yearPaid Training & Career Development ProgramEmployee Purchase PlanAFLAC Voluntary Benefits PackageConsistent, full-time hours in a stable, established shopOpportunity to grow your skills and advance into body repairA shop with nearly 100 years of reputation behind it - and a team that takes pride in their work
