Volta Group is seeking a detail-oriented Surface Title Agent to support title research, curative documentation, and land services deliverables across renewable energy and infrastructure projects nationwide.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working through complex land records, and takes pride in producing accurate, defensible, client-ready work product.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct surface title research using county records and online databasesReview deeds, easements, liens, probate records, encumbrances, and ownership historyPrepare title runsheets, ownership reports, and surface ownership analysesIdentify title defects and recommend curative solutionsDraft and prepare recordable documents, including:EasementsSurface Use AgreementsRight-of-Way AgreementsAffidavitsAssignmentsCurative documentsEnsure legal descriptions and exhibits are accurateSupport document recording and tracking across jurisdictionsMaintain organized title files and project documentationCollaborate with Land Agents, Project Managers, and Title Leadership to meet client deliverablesQualifications5+ years of surface title experience (energy, utility, renewable, or infrastructure preferred)Strong understanding of chain of title, legal descriptions, and curative processesExperience preparing recordable land documentsFamiliarity with county record systems and online title databasesStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsMulti-state experience preferredGIS familiarity is a plusThis is a remote position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
