About the Role
Angie Murray-Pate & Associates, LLC, an American Family Insurance agency, is hiring a Remote Sales Specialist in Nebraska. This is a commission-only, 1099 opportunity with the flexibility to set your own schedule—a great fit for someone who wants to work from home and build income around family commitments (including stay-at-home parents).
What You’ll Do
- Contact, quote, and close insurance sales opportunities (phone/text/email/virtual meetings and in person
- Work provided leads quickly and consistently to convert opportunities into policy sales
- Generate additional business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and your own outreach
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Track activity and follow-ups in agency tools/CRM to maintain an organized pipeline
- Provide a professional, helpful customer experience from first contact through bind
What We’re Looking For
- Nebraska resident (preferred) with the ability to sell in Nebraska
- Self-motivated and disciplined—comfortable working independently in a remote role
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Comfortable with technology (CRM, quoting tools, email/text)
- Reliable internet and a quiet, professional workspace for calls
- Sales or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- someone who would want to go on to become an Agent

- You must also be willing and able to secure your own leads through referrals, networking, and proactive outreach
Licensing
This role requires the appropriate Nebraska insurance license(s) (or the ability to obtain licensing within an agreed timeframe).
