We're building a remote team of resume writers to connect with job seekers and deliver the work.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor role (1099) with no base pay. You earn 50% of every package you sell: $24.50 per Expert Resume Review, $74.50 per Professional Resume Rewrite and $124.50 per Career Package. There are no fees to join.
You don't start cold. Careerscape's job postings drew more than 1 million applications in 2026 and our site averages 70,000 to 80,000 visitors a week, so we give you warm leads from our LinkedIn audience of job seekers, split evenly across the team. You set your own hours, so it fits around a full-time job, and AI tools are welcome for first drafts as long as you review and edit every resume yourself.
Responsibilities
- Review resumes and give clear, specific feedback job seekers can act on
- Write and revise resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles for Rewrite and Career Package clients
- Reach out to warm leads from our LinkedIn audience and introduce our resume packages
- Help each job seeker choose the right package and follow up with interested leads
- Use AI tools for first drafts, then personally edit everything before delivery
- Deliver on time and keep clients updated from purchase to delivery
- Track your leads, sales and deliveries so commissions are paid accurately
Requirements
- Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Experience in resume writing, recruiting, HR or career coaching is a plus
- Comfortable messaging people on LinkedIn and following up
- Familiar with ATS-friendly resume formatting, or willing to learn
- Self-motivated and organized
- An active LinkedIn profile, a computer and reliable internet
- Based in the U.S. and able to work as an independent contractor
