Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing residential property management company, for an entry-level Property Manager to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their real estate or hospitality career to build a foundation in property operations, tenant relations, and lease administration while working with a supportive, experienced team.

Day to day, you will juggle tenant communications, lease paperwork, maintenance coordination, and light bookkeeping, all from a home office setup. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and online portal
  • Coordinate maintenance requests with vendors and contractors
  • Process lease renewals, applications, and move-in and move-out paperwork
  • Track rent payments and follow up on delinquencies
  • Maintain accurate records in the property management software
  • Assist with marketing vacant units and scheduling virtual tours
  • Prepare monthly owner reports summarizing occupancy and expenses
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and local rental regulations
  • Support the senior property management team with administrative tasks
  • Help resolve tenant concerns and escalate issues as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor degree preferred
  • Prior customer service, administrative, or hospitality experience helpful
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using property management software such as AppFolio or Yardi
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a remote work environment
  • Basic understanding of lease agreements and rental processes a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Self-motivated with a reliable home internet connection
  • Willingness to obtain state property management or real estate licensing if required
