Remote Platform Engineer Linux requires;

* 5 years- Experience in Information Technology required.

* 1 year- Experience in IT engineering in an enterprise environment.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent years of experience is required.

* Equivalent years of experience are defined as 4 years of professional experience.

* Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies including infrastructure services, platform technologies and monitoring tools.

* Strong inter-personal skills and ability to cultivate relationships with all internal/external stakeholders, promoting diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures.

Remote Platform Engineer Linux duties:

* Certify multiple hardware platforms and the interrelationship/interoperability of different operating systems and complex environments.

* Provide technical leadership and responsibility for the installation and certification of all supporting software and hardware in order to assure a sound deployment basis for production implementations.

* Developing data architecture to support both the production system, and the backend data science and modeling tools.

* Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.

* Must be willing to adjust schedule to perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on-call rotation.
