Description

Kforce has a client in need of a Remote Principal Mortgage Enterprise Software Architect. Responsibilities:
  • Define and advance enterprise integration architecture, standards, governance, and technology roadmaps
  • Design scalable integration strategies across lending, servicing, corporate, data, and customer-facing platforms
  • Translate business processes and requirements into technical capabilities, architecture models, and implementation strategies
  • Establish standards for APIs, microservices, messaging, event-driven architecture, data exchange, and system interoperability
  • Guide modernization and rationalization of legacy applications and complex platform environments
  • Develop architecture for shared enterprise data, master data management, identity, access, and downstream data distribution
  • Define how shared enterprise capabilities, including branch structures, workforce data, licensing, and compliance information, are governed and distributed across connected platforms
  • Develop strategies to centralize, manage, and publish shared data across loan origination, servicing, corporate, and customer-facing applications
  • Provide architectural direction for Azure, .NET, IAM, SSO, hybrid cloud, and enterprise security solutions
  • Ensure architecture aligns with security, regulatory, compliance, scalability, reliability, and data governance requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and integration solutions and recommend appropriate enterprise adoption strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, data, application, and business teams to guide technical decisions
  • Develop architecture diagrams, capability maps, integration models, technical standards, and strategic roadmaps
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while promoting consistent, reusable architecture practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in integration, enterprise, solution, or application architecture
  • Strong experience within mortgage technology, lending, banking, or another complex financial services environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise integration strategies, architecture frameworks, governance standards, and technology roadmaps
  • Experience architecting solutions using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies
  • Experience integrating applications across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Experience evaluating legacy environments and developing modernization, consolidation, or platform rationalization strategies
  • Experience with mortgage platforms, Microsoft Dynamics, iPaaS technologies, API gateways, or enterprise messaging platforms is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of IAM, SSO, authentication, authorization, security architecture, and data protection
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, messaging, event-driven architecture, data integration, and enterprise interoperability
  • Knowledge of loan origination, servicing, lending platforms, compliance, or related mortgage technology ecosystems
  • Knowledge of master data management, data governance, enterprise data distribution, and shared data services
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders and provide strategic architectural guidance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
