Position OverviewWe are seeking a Financial Systems & Data Onboarding Analyst to support a large-scale financial data standardization initiative across a nationwide franchise network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, financial systems, or implementation. This individual will be responsible for onboarding franchise financial data into a centralized reporting platform, ensuring accurate data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and standardization.
The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, experience with financial statements, and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and franchise operators.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze franchise-level Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial data.
- Map franchise-specific Charts of Accounts (COA) to a standardized financial reporting framework.
- Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Work directly with franchise operators and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and obtain supporting information.
- Support data onboarding, validation, and governance activities within a SaaS-based financial reporting platform.
- Maintain project trackers, onboarding documentation, and implementation status reports.
- Identify data quality issues, investigate exceptions, and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
- Document account mapping decisions, exceptions, and process recommendations.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and outstanding issues.
- Assist with reporting, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, financial systems, implementation, audit, business analysis, or data onboarding.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with MetiRi.
- Strong experience reviewing and interpreting Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Experience with Chart of Accounts mapping, financial data standardization, or financial system implementations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables, filters, reconciliation, and data validation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume onboarding activities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in restaurant, franchise, hospitality, retail, or other multi-unit business environments.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting SaaS implementations, customer onboarding, data conversion, or migration projects.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, benchmarking, and operational performance metrics.
- Experience collaborating with both business and technical teams.
