Position Highlights

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
• Must be flexible to work any assigned shift within operating hours

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for prescription medications
• Assist patients with questions related to medication coverage
• Make and receive calls with patients, insurance providers, payors, and pharmacies
• Research accounts and accurately document information in company systems
• Contact insurance companies to obtain benefit and coverage details
• Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits verification experience
• Experience working with medical claims, prior authorizations, or insurance eligibility
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously

Preferred:

• Call center experience
• Experience handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
