Position: Remote Medical Biller

As a Remote Medical Biller, you will play an important role in supporting accurate and efficient medical billing operations. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting medical claims, verifying billing information, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate billing records. Your attention to detail, organization, and communication skills will be essential in ensuring billing accuracy and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and submit medical claims accurately and in a timely manner
* Review patient and insurance information for accuracy and completeness
* Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding or denied claims
* Post payments and maintain accurate billing and payment records
* Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and claim issues
* Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries
* Maintain confidentiality of patient and billing information
* Follow applicable medical billing guidelines, policies, and procedures
* Collaborate with team members to improve billing processes and accuracy

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical billing coursework preferred
