Commercial Construction Estimator
Our client is a growing commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial projects across the Southeast. Job Description
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
- Develop budgets, bid packages, and bid comparisons
- Assist with preconstruction planning and value engineering
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Support project handoff to Operations teams upon award
- Build and maintain subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating process
- Conduct occasional project site visits as needed

The Successful Applicant
- Estimating experience within commercial construction
- Civil construction estimating experience preferred
- QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) experience strongly preferred
- Experience preparing estimates for ground-up commercial projects
- Strong understanding of construction costs, means, and methods
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but not required
- Must be located within the Eastern Time Zone
