Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry level Documentation Specialist to join their team on a fully remote basis. Day to day, you will spend your time interviewing subject matter experts, drafting and formatting documents, and updating existing content so it stays accurate as products and processes change. Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and format internal and external documentation
  • Interview subject matter experts to gather accurate information
  • Maintain and update existing documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Organize documentation libraries and knowledge base articles
  • Ensure content follows company style and formatting guidelines
  • Review documents for grammar, clarity, and technical accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify documentation needs
  • Track revisions and maintain version control on all documents
  • Support onboarding of new documentation tools and templates
  • Assist with archiving outdated or redundant content

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in English, Communications, or related field
  • Strong written communication and grammar skills
  • Comfort learning new software tools and documentation platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience with content management systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
