About the Role
Join a leading technology team as a Remedy Developer, working remotely with a highly customized BMC Remedy platform supporting a fast-paced call center environment. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in custom code development, PL/SQL, and scripting, collaborating alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll play a crucial role in designing solutions, optimizing integrations, and driving innovation for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom Remedy applications tailored for contact center operations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT partners to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions that drive business value
- Customize Remedy workflows using activelink, filters, forms, scripting, and UI policies for enhanced user experience
- Develop and maintain system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and custom scripts
- Conduct unit and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions
- Create and update technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support, including log analysis and production issue resolution
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to team collaboration and project momentum
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years' experience developing custom Remedy workflows using activelink, filters, and forms
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with advanced skills in writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and functions, and interpreting Explain Plan results
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and shell scripts
- Strong command of Remedy development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for UI customizations
- Experienced in Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Remedy server upgrades and BMC patching
- Familiarity with Tomcat server configuration and log review
- Hands-on experience with Remedy REST and SOAP APIs
- Exposure to Remedy 20.x to Helix on-prem upgrades
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum
- Experience with AWS and BMC Helix
