Relief Operator (Third Shift)

To ensure all wafers/cookies are baked and packed according to the correct size, shape, color and moisture within a certain specification. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion.

Overview:

This position is responsible for the operation of a variety of equipment for the production of wafers and cookies. To ensure all wafers/cookies are baked and packed according to the correct size, shape, color and moisture within a certain specification.

Responsibilities:

• Operate at high levels of quality and efficient
• Serve as backup operator for other operator positions
• Assist in conducting product quality checks  
• Make sure the product is in specification according to customer demands
• Records appropriate production reports
• Must be able to operate any machine in the plant
• Ability to float to other shifts to cover vacations when needed a must

Essential Functions:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on a frequent basis
• Any lifting of over 50 lbs. requires a team lift
• Stoop, kneel, climb, or squat on an occasional basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis
• Possess manual dexterity
• Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day
• Ability to apply formulas and mathematical concepts and to use them in product development
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion

Qualifications:

• English comprehension skills
• Basic computer literacy skills

Pay Range: Starting from USD $27.97/Hr.
