    Description

    Overview:

    The Reliability Technician will be responsible for executing the site reliability initiatives at Charles City.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collect oil samples per oil sample test plan. Perform oil changes based on results. 
    • Perform routine ultrasonic greasing and collection of data for all critical equipment. 
    • Conduct routine air and nitrogen leak surveys, and oversee all necessary repairs. 
    • Perform routine collection of vibration data for all identified equipment. 
    • Conduct yearly digital thermography of all MCC panels. 
    • Work with Reliability Engineer to collect data in support of conducting failure analyses. 
    • Participate in criticality assessments and FMEAs as required. 
    • Collect data in support of the Mechanical Integrity program, and facilitate required repairs. 
    • Create Notifications and Work Orders in SAP. 
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications / Skills::
    • Strong aptitude in the area of mechanical and electrical systems 
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications within a Windows based environment 
    • High attention to detail 
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma 
    • Either has, or is willing to obtain, the following certifications: 
      • Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 
      • Ultrasonic Level 1 
      • Basic Vibration Level 1 
      • Thermography Level 1 
      • Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma 
      • CMRP
