Reliability Maintenance Technician — Recycling Operations
Location: Clackamas, OR
Employment: Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Pay: $28–$32 per hour, DOE

Your Core Responsibilities
- Own preventive maintenance schedules and routine troubleshooting for plant production equipment.
- Apply mechanical know-how, basic electrical ability, welding, and light carpentry to complete work orders efficiently.
- Operate AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene cutting tools, forklifts, and a broad range of hand/power tools with care.
- Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) rigorously and respect all safety shutoffs before any intervention.
- Prioritize daily tasks to align with production demand and minimize downtime.
- Document work clearly and communicate status with teammates.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of verifiable industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience).
- License: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; push/pull loaded materials.
- Comfort with ladders, catwalks, and maneuvering around/under/on equipment in an active plant.
Skill Set
- Mechanical aptitude, solid basic math, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English for manuals, safety guidelines, and work orders.
- Strong personal responsibility for safety and teamwork.
