Why This Role

  • Own complex electromechanical systems and keep production moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of polymer center equipment spanning mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Repair and service conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders to ensure safe, productive operations.
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve electromechanical issues.
  • Document activity via field service reports and manage work orders to completion.
  • Execute preventative maintenance per established schedules.
  • Install and commission new machinery; coordinate vendor maintenance calendars and support.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO.
  • Support other job-related duties as assigned.

About You

  • Self-starter with a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • Confident mechanical and electrical troubleshooter with 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
  • Background in recycling centers or polymer processing preferred.
  • Preferred extras: welding experience, PLC programming capability, and a valid driver’s license.
  • Nice to have: mechanical/electrical/trade school certificate.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $37 per hour
  • Schedule: 2-2-3 night shift
