Description: The Judge Group is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Roxboro, NC area.
Title: Reliability Engineer
Location: Roxboro, NC
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities
•Lead and improve the Root Cause Analysis program.
•Analyze equipment histories and address repetitive failures.
•Drive lean initiatives across processes.
•Develop and administer downtime tracking for consistency.
•Review downtime and equipment history to solve recurring issues.
•Lead Plant Condition Monitoring and PM programs.
•Coordinate with planners and area leaders on CM/PM scheduling.
•Lead the Plant Lubrication and oil analysis programs.
•Apply value analysis for maintenance decisions (repair/replace/redesign).
•Develop standard repair techniques and job scopes.
•Standardize processes influencing new equipment and construction.
•Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through improved reliability.
•Participate in capital design reviews and new installation approvals.
•Train, coach, and develop internal resources.
Qualifications
•In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, and reliability systems.
•Understanding of safety, health, environmental regulations, and policies.
•Strong communication, problem‑solving, organizational, and project‑management skills.
•Knowledge of engineering and design principles; creative approach to improvement.
•Budgeting, financial analysis, and time‑resource management skills.
•Ability to implement change and use supporting software tools.
•Experience: 5+ years industry experience or equivalent combination of training/experience.
•Education: Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
