Opto-Mechanical and Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and deploy assembly and test systems for the manufacturing and reliability testing of innovative silicon-based Photonic Integrated Circuits.
• Perform reliability testing, analyze results, and collaborate with device designers to implement improvements.
• Model and design innovative packaging for low cost photonic modules.
• Support pilot manufacturing line providing expertise in material handling, assembly and test.
• Perform failure analysis, catalogue root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive product improvements.
• Perform thermal, mechanical and optical simulations using Finite Element Analysis software and Zemax.
