Your Job

As a Reliability Coordinator, you'll help keep our maintenance operation running by managing the parts, materials, inventory, and purchasing processes that support equipment reliability and production. You'll work closely with maintenance, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and plant leadership to make sure the right parts are available when they're needed.

Our Team

Our Augusta facility manufactures corrugated boxes and specialty packaging products used to package and transport products across a variety of industries. Behind every box is a manufacturing operation that depends on safe, reliable equipment running efficiently. The Reliability team plays an important role in keeping that operation moving. By maintaining the parts and materials needed for maintenance, you'll help our maintenance teams repair and maintain the equipment that makes the boxes our customers rely on every day.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) parts in the storeroom and computerized maintenance system.
  • Order, receive, inspect, document, and organize parts and materials.
  • Maintain inventory levels and adjust minimum/maximum stocking levels based on part usage.
  • Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain 98% or higher inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and kit parts for planned preventive and corrective maintenance work.
  • Ensure critical and safety-related parts are available when needed and expedite materials when necessary.
  • Issue parts against valid maintenance work orders.
  • Coordinate the rebuilding and return of repairable parts to inventory.
  • Maintain an organized storeroom, including proper storage locations and FIFO practices.
  • Track purchase orders, receiving records, packing slips, and purchasing documentation.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and maintenance leadership to support purchasing and inventory needs.
  • Build productive supplier relationships and coordinate vendor-managed inventory programs.
  • Identify and address slow-moving, obsolete, missing, and off-book inventory.
  • Support monthly maintenance spending plans and communicate material constraints or purchasing needs to leadership.
  • Maintain reliability procedures, records, and audit documentation.
  • Support inventory audits and continuously improve storeroom security and parts-issuance processes.
  • Coordinate or lead maintenance technicians during preventive maintenance and weekend work, as needed.
  • Provide coverage for the Reliability Supervisor, as needed.
  • Work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
  • Work in a hot, humid, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment.
  • Perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and stooping.
  • Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, head protection, and safety-toe footwear.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 1 year of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, material management, or military environment.
  • Experience with inventory, receiving, purchasing, warehouse, or storeroom operations.
  • Experience using computerized systems to maintain inventory, purchasing, or work-order information.
  • Experience maintaining accurate inventory, purchasing, or work-order records with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience prioritizing competing material needs in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Experience communicating effectively with maintenance teams, suppliers, Procurement, Finance, and plant leadership.
  • Experience safely working in an industrial environment and follow environmental, safety, and compliance requirements

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate degree or technical education in supply chain, material management, industrial maintenance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting maintenance or reliability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience with inventory cycle counting, audits, and inventory accuracy improvement.
  • Experience setting inventory minimum and maximum levels using part-consumption data.
  • Experience managing vendor-managed inventory or supplier relationships.
  • Experience managing slow-moving, obsolete, repairable, or off-book inventory.
  • Experience researching parts, obtaining quotes, evaluating supplier pricing, or expediting critical materials.
  • Experience with purchase orders, receiving documentation, packing slips, and accruals.
  • Experience preparing parts kits for preventive or corrective maintenance.
  • Experience supporting maintenance budgets or spending plans.
  • Experience coordinating or directing maintenance technicians.
  • Experience in corrugated packaging or continuous-process manufacturing.
