Description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for their Bedminster, NJ/ Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams and manage dependencies.
  • Track program risks, issues, and impediments, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe best practices.
  • Monitor ART performance using Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, burn-up/down, flow metrics).
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and Business Owners to align delivery with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement across teams and processes.
  • Prepare program status reports and communicate progress to leadership.

  • SAFe Agile & PI Planning Experience
  • Agile Program Management & Dependency/Risk Management
  • Strong Stakeholder Communication & Team Facilitation Skills
  • We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) using the SAFe framework.
  • The RTE will coordinate multiple Agile teams, ensure alignment with business objectives, remove impediments, and drive successful delivery of large-scale initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Agile, program management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Required skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAFe Agile and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and ART ceremonies.
  • Expertise in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Risk, dependency, and issue management experience.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of Agile Project/Program Management experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), DevOps, and CI/CD is a plus.
