Release Train Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • 10+ years of professional experience and Minimum 5+ years of experience as a RTE with RTE certification.
  • Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.
  • Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Support Agile teams in adopting and improving SAFe practices.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and program execution.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and delivery commitments.
  • Track program progress, milestones, and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, impediments, and delivery challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile and SAFe practices.
  • Drive Agile maturity and continuous learning across the ART.
  • Foster collaboration and high-performing team culture.
  • Support release planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Business Owners, and Leadership teams.
  • Provide program-level status reporting and executive updates.
  • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution across teams.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment across stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Experience leading Agile Release Trains and large-scale Agile programs.
  • Expertise in PI Planning, Program Execution, and Dependency Management.
  • Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and reporting tools.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification.
  • SAFe Agilist (SA), SPC, Scrum Master, or Product Owner certifications.
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Enterprise Technology domains.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud, and Digital Transformation programs.
