We're looking for a Release Manager who thrives on precision, cross-team coordination, and zero-downtime delivery for the systems that keep government running.What you'll doYou'll own the full release lifecycle — from scope definition and scheduling to post-deployment retrospectives — serving as the connective tissue between development, operations, security, and business stakeholders. You'll run release readiness reviews, write airtight deployment runbooks, track DORA metrics, and use the data to keep raising the bar.Own end-to-end release planning: change bundling, scheduling, and stakeholder communication across every deploymentBuild and execute detailed runbooks with clear validation gates, decision checkpoints, and rollback proceduresIntegrate release management into CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion workflows, and change management practicesTrack deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR — and turn those numbers into real process improvementsNavigate CAB reviews and formal authorization processes with confidence, keeping every release compliant with agency policiesWhat you bring4–7 years in release management, change management, or a closely related DevOps/IT operations roleBachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceSolid hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Jira, and related DevOps toolingSharp communication and organizational skills — you can manage multiple concurrent releases without dropping a threadExperience with risk assessment, release automation, and post-release reviewsU.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceBonus points forFamiliarity with federal agency IT infrastructure and compliance frameworksITIL Foundation certification or equivalent#cjpost
