Work Environment
This is a field-based role with local travel, with most projects located in and around Fayetteville, GA. Work is primarily performed onsite at customer facilities, including substations and power system installations, with occasional regional travel and periodic overnight stays. An office is available in Fayetteville for use as needed, such as for lunch or brief visits, but day-to-day work is mainly in the field. Team members occasionally travel to Nashville for safety trainings and NETA certification group sessions to maintain and advance their credentials. The typical schedule includes regular hours with an additional 5-10 hours of overtime per week, depending on project demands. The role involves working around high-voltage equipment, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and control systems, using DOBLE test equipment, protection testing software, and company-provided laptop and cellphone. The company provides a vehicle and gas card for work-related travel, as well as a company card for hotels and per diem while traveling. The work environment supports safety and comfort through a boot allowance, prescription safety goggles allowance if needed, and an annual allowance for fire-retardant clothing. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
