Demonstrates high quality relationship building techniques to ensure the customer receives the best possible solution to his banking and financial needs. Helps promote a loyal relationship between the customer and Austin bank.\n \nParticipates in developing a teamwork atmosphere with co-workers as part of department/branch location by attending meetings, participating in discussions, treating co-workers with respect and courtesy, and contributing to departmental goals.\n \nHas a responsibility to stay abreast of company communications by reading publications, announcements and company e-mails, etc. Take advantage of appropriate communication channels regarding bank related business matters. \n \nDevelop personal skills and capabilities through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to Company approval. \n \nUphold and safeguard the organizations values particularly relating to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality both internally and externally.\n \nGreets customers and provides superior customer service.\n \nInterviews applicant and requests specified information for loan applications. Pulls credit files and credit reports.\n \nAnalyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.\n \nEnsures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy.\n \nCorresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.\n \nApproves loan within specified limits or refers to loan committee for approval and/or prepares and sends out denials.\n \nConfers with underwriter regarding lending applications.\n \nCalls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business. Networks with title companies, real estate offices.\n \nWorks past due accounts in attempt to collect funds.\n \nAnalyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans.\n \nParticipates with and assists senior loan officers on larger loans.\n \nProvides customers with routine platform services, such as approving checks for cashing or handling customer problems. Provides exceptional customer service.\n \nGreets customers and answers questions. \n \nAnswers telephone calls taking messages, forwarding calls or providing assistance to customers.\n \nNotarizes documents.\n \nPerforms property inspections and collateral assessment.\n \nPerforms file maintenance.\n \nInputs loan information on the system and completes entries. Inputs UCC filings.\n \nPrepares monthly reports.\n \nReviews for accuracy loans already booked on the system.\n \nPrepares correspondence.\n \nMaintains/reviews VSI insurance and ticklers.\n \nMaintains established department and Bank policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance.\n \nEnhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, community involvement and in-service meetings, etc.\n \nUses professionalism, courtesy and tact in working with Bank personnel.\n \nReports to work regularly and promptly.\n \nMaintains confidentiality at all times.\n \nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
