About this Role
In this role, you are the first point of contact for our clients, serving as a trusted advisor and Relationship Banker. You will build and manage client relationships through a consultative, solutions-based approach, delivering a high-quality client experience and driving customer engagement, retention, and growth within the branch.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Personal Banker, Relationship Banker, Retail Banker, or Financial Services Representative focused on client relationship management and consultative sales.
In this Role You Will
Client Acquisition and Engagement: Acquire and deepen the branch client base through proactive relationship banking, business development activities, and client engagement strategies, including needs assessments, cross-selling, and tailored financial solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Build, manage, and deepen client relationships through proactive outreach, relationship development, and consistent follow-up, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for clients' financial needs.
Advice and Guidance: Lead consultative, needs-based conversations to deliver personalized financial advice and solution-based recommendations, strengthening client relationships, driving customer retention, and enhancing overall client experience.
Risk Management and Operations: Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures, ensuring efficient and accurate branch operations.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as needed.
Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Client relationship management skills that demonstrate a proven sales and relationship management skills
Experience in consultative sales, client relationship development, or retail banking
2 years sales/client relationship building and/or banking experience preferred
Life License (LB) preferred
NMLS registry required
Developed customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
Flexible work week schedule, which may include Saturdays
Compensation Disclosure
The range for this role takes into account many factors that First Bank considers when making hiring decisions, including but not limited to prior experience, skill set, training, and other internal business and organizational factors. First Bank generally does not hire at or near the top of the stated range. The range is driven by the geographic location of the anticipated hiring location; however, the specific range may vary depending on the geographic location for remote positions. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each hiring instance.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $20.75 - $25.50 hourly
