We are looking for a Reinsurance Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.

  • Research and resolve basic reinsurance-related inquiries by actively seeking out information and collaborating with team members. Escalate complex issues to senior reinsurance staff.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including underwriting, claims, operations and finance to help ensure alignment of reinsurance processes and departmental objectives.

  • Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.

  • Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance consistency.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree, or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills required.

  • Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.

Core in‑office days are Tuesday-Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
