Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Reinsurance Business Solutions Analyst to support a Reinsurance Administration platform that manages the complete reinsurance lifecycle, including
Underwriting, Claims, and Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the insurance/reinsurance industry and experience working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
This is a
hybrid onsite role, requiring candidates to work
3 days per week onsite in Warren, NJ.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create detailed Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
- Document current ("as-is") business processes using Microsoft Visio and design future ("to-be") business processes.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business impacts and define system integration requirements.
- Support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution.
- Manage and prioritize enhancement requests within JIRA in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance industry.
- Strong business knowledge of Reinsurance Underwriting, Claims, and/or accounting processes.
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on large-scale initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for business process documentation.
- Experience using JIRA for backlog management and requirement tracking.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with the DXC SICS Reinsurance Administration application.
- Experience supporting enterprise reinsurance transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with system integrations across underwriting, claims, and accounting platforms.
