    Overview

    Full-time 6:30 am to 3:00 pm M-F

    Assists site leadership to optimize department operations (scheduling, inventory, staff onboarding, employee engagement, and quality improvement activities). Leads team huddles or meetings, as assigned. Contributes to a positive work culture and enhances employee engagement. Performs duties of a rehabilitation professional, upholding high standards of clinical practice and hospitality, while taking on leadership roles assigned by management.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies and assists with improvement opportunities within department
    • May assist Education Coordinator with student and volunteer placement
    • Provides input to staff performance evaluations
    • Follows all infection control and safety policies- Assists with maintain supply inventory control and ordering
    • All other duties as assigned by supervisor within job scope.

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    • Bachelor's Degree

    Required Licensure/Certifications

    • Florida Speech Language Pathologist license
    • Speech Language Pathologist.

    Required experience

    • 1 to 2 years as a Speech Language Pathologist

    Necessary Skills

    1. Effective communication and teamwork skills

    2. Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

    3. Strong organizational skills and accountability to progress work

    4. Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    5. Demonstrated clinical ability to provide diverse treatment programs for multiple diagnoses

    6. Knowledge of multidisciplinary (PT, OT, SLP) rehabilitative theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
