    Summary of Position

    Our client is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join their North Carolina team. In this role you will own all compliance documentation and customer-facing communication while supporting manufacturing, research, and quality-assurance activities across multiple US plants. Your expertise will safeguard the integrity of operations while supporting customer needs. This is a hybrid position with some travel to other company locations or customers.

     

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    • Interpret FDA, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements to ensure products and practices meet or exceed all relevant standards

    • Maintain and own the North Carolina ISO activities and documentation

    • Create, approve, and manage all customer- and consumer-facing documentation related to products and materials

    • Ensure regulatory considerations are integrated into the product and production lifecycle

    • Conduct or lead internal audits and inspections for customers, ISO, and other compliance standards

     

    Key Skills

    • Strong knowledge of the federal and state regulatory environment for chemical and plastics manufacturing

    • Experience managing FDA regulations for plastics and packaging

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills for training teams, preparing reports, and liaising with regulatory authorities

     

    Educational & Additional Requirements

    • Strong background in resin manufacturing or compounding (required)

    • Working knowledge of ISO standards and internal audit practices

    • Ability to work on-site in a hybrid capacity with some travel to other locations or customers

    • Degree not explicitly required; relevant regulatory/manufacturing experience is the priority
