Regulatory Program Manager
SRE Engineering is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to support an upcoming NYC DEP infrastructure project, ensuring the project stays in step with the regulatory framework governing the site.
What you'll do
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable Judicial, Federal, or State consent decrees, judgments, or orders tied to the project
- Track regulatory deliverables and deadlines and communicate status to the Construction Manager and DEP
- Serve as the point of coordination between the project team and the regulatory agencies overseeing compliance
- Support documentation and reporting needed to demonstrate compliance throughout construction
What you bring
- Experience with NYCDEP environmental or water quality regulatory compliance, ideally involving consent decrees or federal/state enforcement actions
- Familiarity with Safe Drinking Water Act programs or comparable regulatory frameworks
- Strong written communication skills for regulatory reporting and agency coordination
- Reliable personal vehicle required, as this role requires site travel
