    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelors degree. One year of experience in code enforcement, investigations, or administration of municipal codes is required. Additional experience in code enforcement, investigations, or administration of municipal codes may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis

    Recruitment Notes

    This role is responsible for administering and coordinating regulatory enforcement cases to ensure compliance with county codes, ordinances, and applicable statutes. Additional responsibilities entail preparing and managing enforcement case files for administrative hearings, county boards, panels, and special magistrate appeals, and coordinating referrals for civil and criminal prosecution when warranted. Incumbents in this position review case documentation, evidence, title information, and enforcement records to verify legal sufficiency, procedural compliance, and due process requirements.

    Furthermore, this role works closely with the Legal Liaison, field staff, and legal counsel to support defensible enforcement actions, administer settlement and compliance agreements, monitor corrective actions, and maintain accurate regulatory records, reports, and enforcement outcomes.
