MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and six (6) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work, regulatory work, consumer complaint program work, interviewing, business administration, customer or public relations or investigations; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience which equals six (6) years can substitute for the above requirements; or
A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work, regulatory work, consumer complaint program work, interviewing, business administration, customer or public relations or investigations.

JOB DUTIES:
Provides training for all new hires and ongoing training for Public Inquiry Center team members.
Provides quality assurance for the Public Inquiry Center by monitoring agents' incoming telephone calls and live chats to ensure that accurate information is provided in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner and that agents adhere to established policies and procedures. Provide effective feedback to Public Inquiry Center team members, supervisors, and administrator to assist with team efficiency and agent productivity. Provides coaching, training and development to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Assists with handling escalated calls and may serve as on duty supervisor when necessary. Answers telephone calls and live chats and responds to emails. Provides training for other department/division staff upon request. Performs research necessary to answer questions and assist customers with matters related to concealed weapon or firearm licensing and private investigator, private security, and recovery licensing. Provides applicants information regarding licensure under the division's program areas. Provides information to callers who wish to file a complaint with the division. Uses computer hardware and software to search and store data and to enter necessary information to process a call, live chat or email.
Research agency and division policies and procedures, proposed legislation, and other information to remain current with and knowledgeable of all rules administered by the Department and assist management in formulating section policies and procedures and updating section training documents.
Counsels professional Regulatory Specialists regarding licensure and regulation criteria and procedures. Assists in preparing section reports.
Performs other related work as required.
