Registration Clerk - PRN

Clay County Medical Center is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Registration Clerk to join our Registration team on a PRN basis. This position provides coverage during times of need, including staff absences, increased patient volumes, and other scheduling gaps. Hours will vary based on departmental needs.

As a Registration Clerk, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients and visitors, helping create a positive experience while ensuring accurate patient registration and insurance information. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Duties:

• Greet patients
• Register their information into the computer system
• Collect, scan, and enter insurance information
• Other duties as assigned

• Good communication and people skills
• Detail orientated with extreme accuracy
• Need to be organized and be able to multitask
• Previous hospital experience is preferred but not required
