    Location: Remote

    Facility: Remote

    Shift: Workdays Vary - 2:30pm - 1:00am

    Schedule: Full-time

    Status: Non-Exempt

    Weekend Work: Every

    Remote Work: No

    Role Overview

    • Functions as a Registrar based upon business needs.
    • Resolves more difficult registration and customer service issues that cannot be handled by Registrars.
    • Works with leader on creating/maintaining department staffing schedules.
    • Provides input on team member performance reviews.
    • Participates with leader in regard to coaching and counseling team members.
    • Answers questions and provides guidance to staff with process flow, regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Assists and provides training for new team members and retraining as needed.
    • Makes recommendations for improvement in process flow, work redesign for efficiency and/or quality improvement opportunities within department.
    • Works with others to ensure appropriate coordination of patients.
    • Follows all established protocol to ensure patient confidentiality, data security and compliance with regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent (HS/GED)

    Required Experience: 4-5 years of previous registration & admitting in a hospital/healthcare setting OR any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of job.
