Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: This position provides excellent customer service to prospective and current students, families, visitors, faculty, and staff. Welcome and direct visitors to appropriate campus locations; respond to inquiries regarding academic programs, admissions procedures, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes; assist students throughout the admissions process; review and process admissions applications and supporting documentation; maintain accurate student records; and support departmental enrollment and student success goals.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or higher degree.

Equivalent Qualifications:

Equivalency:Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree plus one year of related experience. Experience with Banner, Slate, Parchment, DiplomaSender, Student clearinghouse, FERPA, and Database management.

Special Certification/Licensure:

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
