Your Role
Working closely with our veterinarians and clinical team, you will:
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to small animal patients across appointments, procedures and hospitalization.
- Coordinate the nursing and anesthesia aspects of surgical and dental cases, from preparation and intubation through monitoring, extubation and recovery.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and obtain diagnostic dental radiographs.
- Assist with examinations, diagnostics and treatments, including blood draws, IV catheter placement, radiography and laboratory testing.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patients and communicate changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate medical records and reinforce the veterinarian’s guidance on preventive care, treatment and home care.
- Support the training and mentoring of technicians and veterinary assistants.
- Help maintain an organized, collaborative and efficient clinical environment.

The Right Fit:
- An active California Registered Veterinary Technician license.
- At least three years of veterinary experience.
- Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical nursing, dentistry and patient recovery.
- Confidence in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography and laboratory procedures.
- Careful attention to detail, accurate documentation and sound judgment about when to raise concerns.
- Clear, compassionate communication with clients and colleagues.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support the development of others.
- Availability for the advertised schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
