The diagnostic medical sonographer maintains continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and recredentialing. The diagnostic sonographer working in the department of Radiology is required to perform diverse imaging across the spectrum of sonography.

    Education

    High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

    Non Degree Program graduate of a 2yr AMA approved Ultrasound program Required

    Experience

    General Experience Relevant Experience Required

    Licenses

    Basic Life Support Required
