    Position Details

    • Position: Full-Time 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN)

    • Grade Levels: PreK–8th Grade

    • Location: Onsite

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

    • Duration: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027

    • Hours: Full-time

    • Caseload: 1:1 student nursing support, with additional district-wide needs as assigned

    • Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually

    • Hourly Option: Hourly compensation is also available for candidates who prefer an hourly structure

    About the Role

    As a 1:1 School Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care and health support to a student in the PreK–8th grade setting. You will work closely with the student, family, teachers, related service providers, and school administration to ensure the student's health and safety needs are appropriately supported throughout the school day.

    Depending on district needs, you may also provide nursing support to other students or buildings throughout the district.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care and support to an assigned student

    • Monitor and respond to the student's medical and health needs throughout the school day

    • Implement healthcare plans and follow physician-directed medical protocols as appropriate

    • Communicate and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the student's educational team

    • Support the student's ability to safely participate in classroom activities and the school environment

    • Maintain accurate and timely health and nursing documentation

    • Monitor changes in the student's health status and communicate concerns appropriately

    • Provide nursing support throughout the district as student needs arise

    • Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students

    Qualifications

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

    • 1–2 years of professional RN experience required

    • Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a multidisciplinary school team

    • Compassionate, patient, and comfortable providing individualized student care
