Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus
Duration: 13 Weeks (09/08/2026 to 12/12/2026)
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities:

• Work at both Anschutz and Network of Care (North or South) facilities as needed.
• Required to work 13 weekend shifts out of 26.
• Work Thanksgiving Holiday (11/25, 11/26 & 11/27).
• Float or reassign to other areas within clinical competence to fulfill scheduled hours within 35 miles of the originally assigned facility.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary.
• Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Required Clinical Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU.
  • Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU.
  • Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU experience.
• Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU experience.
• Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience.

Additional Notes:

• Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period.
• No Requested Time Off (RTO) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
