Department: Respiratory Care NICU
Schedule: Nights | Part-time | 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
How you'll make an impact in this role:Develop tailored respiratory care plans for our most fragile neonatal patients, conducting detailed clinical assessments to ensure every infant receives precise, diagnosis-driven support.
Deliver and monitor advanced neonatal respiratory modalities and specialized equipment, continuously tracking patient stability to maintain optimal pulmonary function and respond swiftly to subtle changes.
Evaluate and optimize clinical outcomes, medication administration, and treatment protocols to drive continuous improvement and high-quality care across our NICU care team.
Empower and support parents and families through clear, empathetic education, guiding them through their baby's journey and connecting them with vital community support resources.
Respond decisively as a core member of the high-risk emergency resuscitation team, delivering swift, life-saving interventions during critical code situations.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education:
Advanced Specialty Credential: Holding your NBRC Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS) certification is highly valued, though not required. We actively support and empower our team members to earn this specialty credential during their time with us.
Specialized NICU Experience: Prior clinical experience in a Level III or higher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a strong advantage, though we welcome passionate therapists ready to advance their neonatal care expertise.
Resuscitation & Transport Readiness: Active NRP certification is ideal for immediate nursery assignment. Having certifications in S.T.A.B.L.E., PALS, or ACLS is a fantastic bonus that reflects your commitment to critical care, though not required.
