Location: Craig, CO
Pay: $30.75$46.13 per hour, depending on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care settings.
Responsibilities
Administer respiratory treatments and medications as ordered by physicians.
Assess patients respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions.
Initiate, maintain, and monitor mechanical ventilation.
Perform arterial blood gas draws and assist with airway management and intubation.
Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately.
Operate and troubleshoot respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment.
Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC.
Required professional license or certification, as applicable.
Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
NRP certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass required background screening, drug screening, and pre-employment health requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of RRT experience, including general respiratory care and mechanical ventilation.
Experience with pulmonary diagnostics.
Experience with cardiac diagnostics, including EKGs, Holter monitors, event monitors, and cardiac stress testing.
