Registered Nurse Wound Care

Position: Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Position Overview:

Must have knowledge of various wound and ostomy treatment with a background in a clinic situation with a primary setting of adult care with chronic medical problems and the ability to recognize signs and/or symptoms to quickly provide emergency care.

Qualifications:

• Accredited program or 2 years minimum, required for this position.
• A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
• Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a year would suffice.
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Must have BLS and a current Wound Care Certification with an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course.
• At least 6 months Wound Care experience required
