A Registered Nurse with trauma operating room experience is sought for a full-time night position at a 417-bed acute care hospital in Miami, FL. The hospital is a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center certified by the Florida Department of Health, verified as a Level I Adult Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons, certified by the Joint Commission as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, and one of five American Burn Association–verified Burn Centers in the state.

The role. The Trauma OR Registered Nurse assumes full responsibility and accountability for an assigned group of patients throughout a designated shift, delivering care through the nursing process, therapeutic use of self, appropriate use of instrumentation and the environment, and collaboration with the broader care team. The nurse applies clinical judgment to prioritize and coordinate care for trauma patients in an acute care operating room setting, adapting rapidly to the high-acuity, time-sensitive demands of a Level I Trauma Center.

What we're looking for.
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Minimum 2 years of trauma operating room experience in an acute care setting

Schedule. Full-time, nights with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $39.57 - $53.34/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
