Position: Registered Nurse – Transplant ICU
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: November 9, 2026 – February 18, 2027
Shift: Day Shift, 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, float as needed. On-call required. Travel contract; only one major holiday off per contract.
Requirements:
Required Experience:
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of patient populations specific to the assigned area.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
- NxStage CRRT experience required.
Required Education:- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Preferred Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Required Licensure & Certifications:- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.
Required Skills:- Patient care management, nursing theory, clinical competence, and NxStage continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Provide nursing care to a primarily adult patient population in accordance with professional nursing standards.
