• Pay Rate: $66.00 $70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift (3 12 Hours), 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first-time travelers

Job Summary

This is a Registered Nurse contract opportunity in the Telemetry specialty, supporting Neuro Surgery, Neuro/Tele, ENT Surgery, and Orthopedic overflow units. The position requires night shift availability on a 3 12-hour schedule and is located at a major academic medical center in Worcester, MA.

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Previous Epic charting experience required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required

Required Skills

• Telemetry nursing skills
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Minimal RTO flexibility (2 3 days)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Unit: Neuro Surgery; Neuro/Tele; ENT Surgery; Orthopedic overflow
• Night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), 3 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam
• Both exams allow only 1 attempt failure results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs
